Menu

Soup:
Ital Soup. Allspice coconut broth with root vegetables, lime and herbs.

Second
Jamaican pattie: A turmeric spiced dough filled with curried cabbage, carrots and peas, served with tamarind sauce and a side of cho-cho apple salad

Entree
Black eyed pea fritters, turned cornmeal, Calalu (mustards, collards, spinach stewed with taro), mango habanero sauce

Dessert
Ice cream cones
Homemade waffle cones with soursop coconut ice cream and spiced banana chocolate (cashew based) with cookie crumbles and mango sauce.

Ramen making class, February 28, 2016

Let's make ramen! Yes, noodles, stock and toppings!

We will learn to make homemade ramen noodles, some delightful mushroom/seaweed based broth and some very interesting toppings made from tofu, mushrooms, green vegetables and root vegetables.

Bagels and dips class, Febrary 21, 2016

The ever popular bagel backing class returns! We will be learning to mix, knead, shape, boil and bake incredible homemade bagels! And bagels need toppings so we will also be learning to make beet nut pate, cashew cream cheese and garlicky hummous

Winter chowder class, Sunday February 7, 2016

Its freezing, lately! Let's make some thick, hearty winter chowders to stay warm!
A hands on class (as always). Come join a few others to learn to prepare some tasty, delightful soups to stay warm, this winter.

We will be preparing the following:
Cauliflower Miso Chower
Creamy Potato Chowder

Cant live on soup alone, so a couple of fresh winter salads will also be on the class menu:
blood orange-fennel salad
Tangerine arugula salad
