Day 3, San Francisco World Music Festival

for lunch we served:
dal with eggplant
Tofu salad with herbs, lime, shoyu

While prepping for dinner, i had the pleasure of hearing the Azerbaijani musicians rehearse with 3 of the Kyrgystani musicians! Truly delightful and they can easily communicate through their imperial language, Russian from when they were part of the Soviet Union.

For dinner
dal with eggplant and zucchini soup
Garbanzo beans stewed with pumpkin, carrots purple cabbage, sumac, tahini, lemon
roasted sweet potatos and potatos with herbs and spices
choy sum stir fried with garlic and ginger
